Version 1.000. Released February 6, 2006

Changes in this version

Added Inlay Designer, Version 0.900.
Refactored the Inlay selection panel. The panel was expanded to handle a significantly greater number of inlays. Additionally, the panel is populated with any inlays saved in the Inlay Designer module. Buttons were added to scroll the panel through all available inlays.
Added slots to the save/load system. The "SAVE" and "LOAD" buttons now display an intermediate selection window, which displays an iconic representation of what has previously been saved. Select a slot to save to or load from, or select "CANCEL" to abort the operation. There are currently eight slots from which to choose, although this can easily be extended to accomodate additional slots.
Modified all inlays to render correctly, depending on the mold on which the inlay is placed. In essense, what this means is that molds with recessed inlays (e.g. all ASM molds) will have the inlay drawn with a slight edge shadow, whereas molds with flush inlays (e.g. T.R. King) will have the inlay drawn without the edge shadow.
Added a "GAMMA" button that changes the lighting model for the chip display. The name of the lighting model will temporarily display over the chip stack in the main design window.
Changed the chip stack so that only the top chip has an inlay. This was done strictly for performance reasons and the absence of an inlay on the lower chips isn't visually noticable, even with the chip stack in a shuffled state.
Edge glint is only visible on appropriate chips (currently on ASM chips only).
Added edge glint animation effect when chip in chip stack is repositioned.
Added a new Chip Forge theme "stock" inlay.
Issue: Scrubbing chip stack edges on shuffled stack sometimes rotates incorrect chip. FIXED.
Issue: Loading an archive with fewer chips than the number currently in the gallery leaves extra, lingering chips. FIXED.
Issue: Gallery chips can get into a confused state when performing select/deselect animations. FIXED.

Addition of Inlay Designer module

Added new module to allow users to create a custom inlay set which can be imported and/or transmitted to the main Chip Forge application. The user's image is not limited to any specific pixel dimension and the Inlay Designer allows free transformation of image size and position. Additionally, for indulging the user's chip-making fantasy, the tool allows a large variety of common inlay shapes to be applied to any inlay.

Changes in all Gallery modules

Updated to handle new inlay features, including: custom user inlays, shaped inlays, and recessed state.

Changes in Gallery module #2

Added individual displays for chip configuration information. The information displays are initially off, and clicking anywhere in the application will toggle the state of the displays.
