Version 0.950b. Released November 20, 2005

Changes in this version

Added edgespot picker and small assortment of theoretical and/or actual edgespot patterns.
Internally, refactored the 3D isometric edgespot renderer to be 100% data-driven (was originally implemented by hard-coding values for the "312" edgespot pattern.
Finalized the workflow for edgespot asset creation. A new edgespot pattern can be implemented in 15 to 20 minutes.

What's next, in the immediate future

In addition to the stuff mentioned below in the 0.940b notes, there is a new known issue involving the "A/B" button, the edgespot pattern picker and the edge color pickers.
I've started to notice major cache issues while running under IE. If you experience strange behavior (e.g. the main design chip disappears when selecting a new mold or edgespot, chips with missing faces in the stack) try running with Firefox. I've noticed that the application runs much better under Firefox. The application streams in assets on an as-needed basis, relying on the browser's caching mechanism to prevent unnecessary data fetches. It's possible that my IE cache needs clearing, but if not, I'll have to resort to a different asset streaming mechanism.
